Update Member Details link via SSAA National

 

Join SSAA Rockhampton Branch Inc. (Q07)

As our club is an incorporated association branch of the National and Qld SSAA sporting body, our amenity card holders are required to maintain membership of the National SSAA.  Membership of SSAA Rockhampton Branch is denoted by Q07 on the plastic national card.  The best method to join SSAA is at the on-line page.

Therefore to apply to become an Amenity Card Holder of SSAA Rockhampton Branch Inc., you must first be a financial member of the National SSAA body, (even if you have an existing firearm licence for a rural property use or are a member of another shooting association).

Your SSAA Membership commences when your application is received and acknowledged by the National SSAA office.  As part of your SSAA membership, you will receive a monthly 'Australian Shooter' magazine which is mailed to your postal address.

Link to the Application Form for SSAA Membership.  This form and fee can be either completed on-line or printed-out and sent to the National SSAA office at SSAA Membership, PO Box 282, Plumpton, NSW, 2761.   Remember to nominate your Membership Branch as Q07.

Note:  Ensure that your residential address is the same as for your firearm licence.

Q07 Amenity Card Fees

Yearly Amenity Card Fees
Full Adult Amenity Card Fee $110.00
Family Amenity Card Fee $110.00 for the nominated full adult, plus $22.00 each additional adult resident at the same address.
Pensioner Amenity Card Fee $77.00  (Evidence of Pensioner status required)
Pensioner Family Amenity Card Fee $77.00 for the nominated pensioner adult, plus $16.50 each additional adult resident at the same address.
Junior Amenity Card Fee
(11th to 18th birthday)
$11.00 (no pro-rata)
All Amenity Fees are current as of  7th  March 2020
 

Amenity Card Fees are based on a financial year - 1 July to 30 June. 

New Amenity Card applications partway through the financial year, are based on half year pro-rata, as follows - 100% in July to December, 50% in January to June.  But New Amenity Card applications during the 'amenity renewal period', normally May and June, will be processed as part of the upcoming financial year.

Note  1.  Amenity Cards are not 'membership cards' they are for obtaining cheaper Range Fees.

Note  2.  All Amenity Card renewals will include a request for current information on: contact, Weapons Licence details, Category H Participation Cards.  If Cat H participation applies to you, then strict compliance regulations apply.

Participation Cards.

Participation record 
Concealable firearm licensees who possess Category H weapons for sports or target shooting are required to keep and maintain a record of their participation in handgun shooting competitions (participation record).  You may use the QP 516 Pistol Club Shooters Participation Card, which is an example of how you may record your shoots.  SSAA Rockhampton Branch Q07 provide free a Participation Card on request for Cat H events.
